Privacy Policy

Herndon Choir and the Herndon Choral Boosters respect your right to privacy and will protect it when you visit www.HerndonChoir.com.

We collect no personal information about you when you visit the site, unless you specifically and knowingly choose to provide such information. If you voluntarily provide personal information — for example, by sending an e-mail or by filling out and submitting a form through the website — you are indicating voluntary consent for us to use the information to respond to your message and to help provide you with the information and services that you have requested.

We do not collect, give, sell, or rent any personal information to third parties for commercial marketing. We may retain electronically submitted information as long as necessary to respond to your request.

Student privacy is of the utmost importance, and we make every effort to protect student confidentiality. For this reason, individual students who are pictured in photographs that appear on this website are not identified by name.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact the Webmaster.

Please ... No Facebook Tagging

Ms. Van Slyke would like to request that choir students who use Facebook please refrain from tagging other people in photos and videos of Herndon Choir concerts and events. Identifying students besides yourself creates the potential for privacy violations and suggests an endorsement of Facebook use in the Choir program. Your cooperation is appreciated. Thank you!

Audio and Video Recordings of Performances

Due to copyright restrictions on published music, and on recordings of public performances of copyrighted music, it is the policy of this website and HHS Boosters  to prohibit the use of audio and video recordings of Herndon Choir concerts and events. Individuals who video record choir performances for their own use do so without permission or endorsement from the publishers or the HHS Music Department.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
